Semi-automatic Fibersort®

A single Fibersort® line is designed to process 1 textile per second, and the capacity depends on the average weight/textile of the textiles. We estimate that there are roughly 3 textiles/kg in used clothing, so that means a capacity of up to ±1.200 kg/h.

A semi-automatic Fibersort® system consists of the following main parts:

  • Sorting table with a reception box
  • Feeding conveyor
  • Fibersort® scanner : fiber and color cameras
  • Sorting conveyor (scalable : min. 6 categories – max. 50 categories per conveyor)

There are several add-ons available for the semi-automatic Fibersort.
